Eric Scheele - Founder

Eric Scheele is an avid fly and bass fisherman with a strong internet entrepreneurial spirit. Eric has successfully launched many telecom based presences through ventures like CallbackNet, Netphone2, PC2PhoneInfo, NoToll, PCCall2 and his latest corporate presence - TalkFree.com. Through his travels and love of fishing and the appreciation of the art of fly tying craftsmanship, Eric ventured with FliesDirect.com in cooperation with his personally selected partners within the fishing fly manufacturing industry. Though he spends the majority of his time dedicated in the VoIP channel as a executive co-founder of TalkFree.com, Eric oversees directional operations and manages business development opportunities for FliesDirect. Eric graduated in 1991 with Chemistry and Education Degrees with a minor is Biology and Physics from Kansas State University. In 1995, he obtained his Masters of Applied Science from Baker University.

Shep Sparks - Sales Manager

Shep development experience in bridge/highway construction materials including fabricated steel for his father's business Contractors Steel Corporation (acquired by Ambassador Steel), retail investments including trust/wealth management services for Principal Financial and Brenton Bank (acquired by Wells Fargo), institutional equity/investment banking sales for Hoak Breedlove Wesneski and Stifel Nicolaus, and investor relations for software company Engineering Animation (acquired by EDS).

He is a fishing enthusiast that includes a couple of his favorites in Alaska and the Rockies. Sheps grandfather used to tie flies as an enthusiast as well. He is a graduate of the Air Force Academy, Whittier Law School, and the Army Command and General Staff College with 20 years of government/military and business/banking experience. Shep is also an officer and attorney in the military reserve. I am a native of Des Moines IA and avid basketball fan of all levels including coaching his sons youth teams.

Cheryl Lyn - Accounts Manager

Cheryl is a ex-public accountant of KPMG Peat Marwick. After 2 years in Public Accounting , she made the move from public to private accounting, taking a job as cost accountant for Lee Jeans, a division of the VF Corporation. Cheryl decided to fulfill her design ambitions and took a promotion to Product Coordinator and later was promoted to Product Manager within Lee Jeans. After 8 years in the work force, Cheryl left the corporate world to be a stay at home mom. As her kids are now school aged children, Cheryl joins us at FliesDirect. Cheryl handles all accounts and receivables for FliesDirect and acts as the office manager and general point of contact for all billing and shipping tracking. Cheryl graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Accounting.
